Kaya Website Launched
Kaya is open source, free for anyone to use, and I genuinely hope it helps someone else the way it's helped me. If it makes managing your homelab a little easier, saves you some time, or even inspires you to build something of your own, then every late night spent working on it was worth it.
Kaya is finally public.
Around six months ago, Kaya started as a small project to solve problems I kept running into in my own homelab.
I never planned to build a business or make money from it. I just wanted to create something that worked the way I thought it should, and if it ended up being useful to other people too, then happy days.
What I didn't expect was just how much this project would mean to me.
The last six months haven't always been easy. There have been some dark times, and having Kaya to work on gave me something positive to focus on. It pushed me to learn, challenged me every day, and gave me a sense of purpose when I really needed one. Looking back, building this project has helped me far more than I ever imagined it would.
So today I'm putting it out into the world.

I'd really love people to give it a go, tell me what's good, tell me what's rubbish, report bugs, suggest features, and help shape where it goes next. This isn't about building a company. It's about sharing something I've poured a lot of myself into and hopefully making it useful for others.
To everyone who's followed the journey so far, tested early versions, raised issues, or simply sent an encouraging message, thank you. You've helped keep me going more than you probably realise.
This is just the start, and I'm looking forward to seeing where Kaya goes from here.
